How did you hear about Whitney Browning Boudoir? : A friend at work added me to the Facebook page!
Why did you choose Whitney Browning Boudoir for your session? : I watched for about a year, as Whitney posted these stunning pictures of women from all over. Women of all shapes and sizes, coming from all walks of life were showing off their beauty. Their confidence was contagious. I knew Whitney was the one, you could see her passion and love for every woman she worked with.
What were your fears coming into the session? : I was scared my pictures wouldn’t be like everyone else, that the woman who I saw in the mirror would be the woman everyone else saw.
Did those fears come true? : Not at all. My pictures weren’t like everyone else, they were MY pictures. It was my beauty and my confidence that came through. It was an amazing thing.
What was your favorite part of the experience and why? : Actually taking the photos. It was way out of my comfort zone and I saw it as overcoming a fear. Whitney is the best kind of hype woman so this wasn’t to hard to overcome.
How did you feel DURING your session? : At first I was nervous!! I was going to get naked and pose in front of a woman I had NEVER met before that day. But 5 minutes in, I was comfortable and relaxed.
With every pose I became more and more confident.
How did you feel seeing your images for the first time?: My heart was overwhelmed. Is that really me? That’s all I could think. It was like being in shock, but for good reasons. I fell in love with me, with my body, my eyes, my confidence...I was stunning!!!
Do you feel like you have a better relationship with your body since your session?: Yes yes yes!!!! I finally see myself as beautiful. Even on my rough pj days, I look in the mirror and I remember I’m a badass. A beautiful badass.
What will you do in the future to show yourself some self-love? : Take more time for myself. Some peace and quiet.
Would you ever do another session?: Yes! I can’t wait to come back!
Do you have any advice for women interested in booking a boudoir session?: Do it. Book the session, take the pictures, and love yourself!!! Invest in you!
Anything else you'd like to share?: I want to thank Whitney for giving us all our confidence back. For being patient with us. For loving us, and for making us see the beauty in ourselves!!
