How did you hear about Whitney Browning Boudoir? : I followed Whitney’s Facebook group for years in anticipation of working up the nerve to do a session one day!
Why did you choose Whitney Browning Boudoir for your session? : After losing over 100 pounds I knew if I was going to finally take the leap in doing something I was so scared to do that I have to let Whitney do it! I had followed her page for so long and knew she was going to do the most amazing job and create the most incredible pictures!
What were your fears coming into the session? : I was afraid that even after losing the weight I had worked so hard to lose that I would still only see my flaws when I looked at my pictures. There was a part of me still so self conscious about my body that I was worried even after working up the nerve to do the session I wouldn’t feel beautiful like everyone else always did after their session.
Did those fears come true? : The complete opposite actually, I came back for my reveal and was floored at how the person I was staring at could possibly be me! I was instantly struck with a sense of confidence I never knew I could have!
What was your favorite part of the experience and why? : My favorite part of the experience is hard to pick because the whole session was amazing but seeing my pictures at the end was probably my very favorite part! After being so nervous for how I’d feel about myself and if I’d feel beautiful like everyone else always did after their session, I was speechless staring at the babe on the screen. I couldn’t believe that was me and I was instantly struck with a sense of confidence I’d never felt in my life!
How did you feel DURING your session? : I walked into my session full of nerves, until I got to talking with Whitney and she made me feel so comfortable. I realized that I had nothing to be nervous about, she was so funny and kind and she talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable the whole time!
How did you feel seeing your images for the first time?: I was literally speechless seeing my pictures for the first time! To be honest I’m still speechless every time I see my pictures! It gave me a level of confidence I didn’t know I could have! I have struggled with self confidence my whole life but sitting in that chair I was able to see myself in a way I’d never seen myself before!
Do you feel like you have a better relationship with your body since your session?: I 1,000% have a better relationship with my body after my session! It gave me a whole new perspective of myself and my body!
What will you do in the future to show yourself some self-love? : Since doing the session I have continued to remind myself that sometimes the scariest things turn into the most rewarding things! I won’t let self confidence come between me and the things I want to do!
Would you ever do another session?: I will absolutely be doing another session!
Do you have any advice for women interested in booking a boudoir session?: Don’t let the fear of the unknown keep you from creating something amazing! No matter how nervous you may be YOU WILL NEVER REGRET THIS! Being able to see yourself the way you will see yourself after doing a session with Whitney is something every woman deserves to experience!
Anything else you'd like to share?: This was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had in my life! It’s been about 8 months since I did my session and I still find myself staring at my pictures! (I’m also 8 months pregnant so you could say my husband really liked my pictures as well!😉)
