The most common fears about boudoir photography (and why you don't need to worry)

  1. “I don’t have the body/I don’t look good enough.”

False. Every body is boudoir worthy. I have photographed hundreds of women, all shapes, all sizes, all ages…each body has been different (and everyone has their own insecurities.) Your size does not determine your value, you don’t need to lose weight, you don’t need a boob job. Come as you are.

  2. “I don’t know how to pose.”

You don’t have to. That’s MY job. I am a very hands on photographer. Almost every pose I do WITH YOU, step by step direction - down to fingers, toes, and facial expressions and then adjust you as needed. You don’t need a list, you don’t need to research, all you have to do is follow my lead.

  3. “What if I don’t like my photos?”

I’ve heard it a dozen times “what if I’m your first disappointed client?” - yet it still hasn’t happened and I’m confident I won’t. I’ve spent years learning posing, lighting, angles, all the things needed to create images that will blow your socks off.

  4. ‘I’m awkward and can’t be sexy”

Ok. I’m MORE awkward. Promise. But also, there are ways around those of you who giggle at the serious moments. Not only can I sneak some photos, I also LOVE capturing laughing. What’s sexier than a beautiful smile?!

  5. “I don’t have anything to wear”

I have a large client closet for this very reason. I’ve done the work for you by purchasing lingerie that photographs beautifully and fits different bodies. We have things like oversized sweaters, cropped t shirts, robes, etc too. If you want to buy your own lingerie, we also have a blog with our favorite stores. We are also available to help you shop.

  6. “Will my photos be shared?”

We take our clients privacy very seriously. The women you see on our website/social media have given us full permission to share their images. This is completely your choice.

  7. ‘I don’t have anyone to give these to”

Perfect. I highly recommend doing a boudoir session for YOU. While it can make a fun gift for a spouse/partner, they won’t be getting the confidence boost- you will. You deserve to feel like the baddest bitch, you deserve to feel unstoppable, you deserve to do something for you.

  8. “It’s a lot of money”

Yes. Boudoir photography is an investment. One of the only things you will ever purchase that will get more valuable over the years. And I get it, women are taught to put themselves last and you may feel guilt over doing something for YOU, but you are worth it too. You deserve an experience that pours over into the other parts of your life. When you have your confidence back, when you feel good again, you are truly unstoppable. (and we offer payment plans).
