How did you hear about Whitney Browning Boudoir? :
Via Facebook and from some friends that had sessions with her
Why did you choose Whitney Browning Boudoir for your session? :
I loved Whitney's style that is very sexy and sensual, yet classy and tasteful at the same time. I booked the session as a birthday gift for my husband and as a way to be able to see myself in a different light after committing myself to a more healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about your session? :
Like most every woman, I have insecurities about my body. I have several scars on my abdomen from infertility treatment and a C-section and there are parts that I just don't love. I just had to tell myself that there would be no better time than now to do this.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / body confidence as a result of this session?:
It's very nice to hear from your spouse that you're beautiful and look great, but to actually see that for yourself and really believe it is a whole different feeling. I love being able to see my curves in a feminine way as well as my muscles that I've been working to build on, all in the same photo. It's like being shown that you're sexy and strong at the same time and that is very empowering.
What was your favorite part of the experience and why? :
I loved having my makeup and hair done and being able to go right upstairs and pick out gorgeous lingerie out of her closet. I don't wear makeup during the week and have my hair pulled back into a cap most everyday, so I felt confident and downright fabulous when I came out in the first outfit we had picked out.
How did you feel DURING your session? :
Very much at ease considering I was prancing around nude in a building in downtown Fayetteville with a girl I had just met. Whitney's organized and down to earth demeanor made me feel so calm and her excellent posing cues were easy to follow. I just kept thinking about how exciting it was going to be to see the images that afternoon. I had planned to keep the images as surprise until his birthday, but I was so happy with just the few back of the camera shots she showed me along the way, that I caved and called and told him as soon as we got finished shooting.
How did you feel seeing your images for the first time?:
Blown away. It was hard to even believe that those images were of me!
Would you ever do another session?:
Oh absolutely. And have already told her I have plans to come back. : )
Do you have any advice for women interested in booking a boudoir session?:
Just do it! Make that investment and realize that there will probably never be what you might think of as the perfect time. Trust Whitney's direction and know that in the end you will have gorgeous images of yourself that you will be so proud of.
